December 12, 2022
In celebration of National Sticker Day and National Puzzle Day in January, StickTogether Products is offering an interactive contest for K–12 educators.
The 11 Days of Virtual Sticker Puzzles Contest, which kicks off on Friday, January 13, 2023, asks educators and students or peers to work collaboratively to complete a daily Virtual Stickerboard™ for a chance to win a Standard Size Sticker Poster Kit for their classroom or school.
The contest held each weekday between January 13, 2023, and January 29, 2023, helps introduce the free Virtual Stickerboard program to classrooms.
A Digital Community Building Activity
“As a company that offers sticker-based puzzles to educators, we could not think of a better time to highlight our free Virtual Stickerboard program for educators,” said Sylvia Stein, president of StickTogether Products.
“And what better way to do it than to have a contest with plenty of prizes! The Virtual Stickerboard brings our physical sticker puzzles online letting students participate in a fun and engaging community-building activity – either as part of a lesson or for a brain break or free time – from their own devices. The 11 Days of Virtual Sticker Puzzles Contest is all about celebrating the power of puzzles and bringing people together for a fun, exciting activity.”
Building Relationships Between Students and Educators
The 11 Days of Virtual Sticker Puzzles Contest is free to enter and open to all K–12 educators, librarians, and media specialists in the United States and Canada.
After registering for the contest, educators can complete a Virtual Stickerboard using the StickTogether platform and image gallery each weekday between Friday, January 13, 2023, and Sunday, January 29, 2023, for a chance to win. There will be a prize given each weekday.
Something New Every Weekday
Educators must work on the Virtual Stickerboard with a group of students or colleagues and then post an image or a short video of the puzzle being completed on Twitter tagging @byStickTogether.
Each weekday during the contest, StickTogether Products will choose one winner at random to receive a physical Sticker Poster Kit for their classroom or school. Educators can participate in the contest each weekday for more chances to win.
StickTogether Products was first presented at MakerFaireNY 2015 with the sole purpose of engaging the maker community through the power of making by solving simple puzzles together.
Today, the company’s hands-on and digital group activities provide a collaborative, community-building activity for librarians, teachers, media specialists, counselors, and students alike.
